Some discomfort is normal, especially the first time. We use high-quality wax, experienced technicians, and calming techniques to minimize pain. Pre-care such as avoiding caffeine and taking a mild pain reliever can help; communicate comfort levels for adjustments during your appointment.

Ideally, hair should be at least one-quarter inch (about six millimeters) so wax can grip properly. If hair is too short, wait; if too long, we'll trim it for comfort and better results.

Most clients return every four to six weeks, depending on personal growth cycles. With consistent waxing, hair growth typically slows and thins, extending time between visits. We can recommend a schedule after your first appointment to match your individual needs.

Exfoliate gently a day or two before, avoid heavy lotions or oils on the area, and come with clean, dry skin. Avoid caffeine and scheduled strenuous exercise immediately afterward. Inform the esthetician of medications, pregnancies, or skin conditions before waxing.

Temporary redness, sensitivity, and small bumps are common immediately after waxing and usually subside within twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Avoid hot baths, saunas, tight clothing, and direct sun exposure to reduce irritation and infection risk.

Many clients can safely receive waxing during pregnancy and breastfeeding, though increased sensitivity is common. We recommend consulting your prenatal provider and informing the esthetician of your pregnancy stage. We will adjust pressure and technique to maximize comfort and safety.
